What is Boot Camp 101?
Boot camp 101 is a four-week outdoor fitness program led by a Certified Personal Trainer.  Classes meet for one hour sessions either two or three times a week. Each session will be motivating and inspiring. You will have fun while getting a fantastic workout!

Are there advantages to exercising outside?
If you have a hectic lifestyle or spend most of your day enclosed in an office or car, exercising outdoors offers a natural source of rejuvenation. It invigorates your body and calms your mind. You will find that it is a refreshing alternative to the sweaty crowds and noisy atmospheres commonly found at health clubs and community gyms.

Are all fitness levels welcome?
Regardless of your age or ability you can participate. You won’t be left behind or asked to do more than you can safely handle. You are competing only against yourself, but will be working with others for added motivation. As you become stronger, your workouts will increase in intensity under the watchful eye of a certified fitness professional. By the end of camp, you will be amazed at your accomplishments!

What types of exercises are included in the program?
Boot camp will include a variety of exercises  that work on core conditioning, cardio vascular ability, strength training, resistance training, circuit training, obstacle courses,  games, and more…all designed to help you reach your health and fitness goals!

When and where is Boot Camp 101?
Boot camp will be held at Helder park. Boot camp will start June 3 and go until Nov.1.

What is needed for the Women Boot Camp 101?
All you will need to bring is an exercise mat or a towel, women 5-8lbs hand weights,a water bottle (to keep you hydrated), a good pair of exercise shoes and the desire to get into shape!

What if it rains?
If it is just raining, we will still meet for camp, we will simply exercise in the park pavilion for the session. If the weather is severe, class will be canceled and you will be contacted. All canceled classes will be made up.

How do I sign up?
Just register online and pick which boot camp you would like to attend.  Also print out and fill in the online consent form health and wellness questionnaire to bring with you the first day of class.
